Arrival Emerges as the New Identity of Formosa Interactive
Streamland Media's gaming division, formerly known as Formosa Interactive, has undergone a rebranding and will now operate as Arrival. At the helm of this newly christened company is President Paul Lipson, who brings nearly a decade of experience from his time at Formosa, where he progressed from VP of creative services to SVP of interactive worldwide. Prior to his tenure at Formosa, Lipson spent four years at Microsoft, serving as senior audio director. Arrival is poised to continue delivering a comprehensive suite of services, including creative solutions, co-development projects, and end-to-end audio services tailored to the gaming industry. The company boasts state-of-the-art facilities in key locations such as Los Angeles, Seattle, and London, along with other significant development hubs. Lipson expressed his sentiments, stating, "I am deeply honored to lead our global team of talented individuals as we venture into this new chapter. The name Arrival symbolizes more than just a change in our identity; it marks our evolution into a seamless extension of our partners' creative teams, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of immersion and player experience in the gaming world." Streamland Media CEO Bill Romeo also shared his thoughts, saying, "The launch of Arrival is a significant step in our commitment to the future of interactive storytelling. Recognizing the gaming industry's need for specialized partners who can adapt to the increasing complexity and creative demands of modern game development, we are transforming Formosa Interactive into a dedicated powerhouse that is deeply ingrained in the gaming ecosystem. Paul's leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping our interactive capabilities, and he is ideally positioned to guide Arrival towards its full potential."
