Former Boss Fight Entertainment Developers Launch New Studio, Sunwise Games

A collective of 26 developers from the now-defunct Boss Fight Entertainment, a studio acquired by Netflix in 2022, have reunited to establish Sunwise Games, an independent game development studio. The new venture, led by CEO Irin Berry, aims to design and develop PC games that feature complex systems, progression, and player-friendly monetization models. Following Netflix's shutdown of Boss Fight Entertainment in October 2025, the team chose to stick together, leveraging their experience and cohesion to build a new company. With a focus on sustainability and a commitment to their shared values, Sunwise Games is poised to announce its inaugural title soon, marking an exciting new chapter in the team's journey.
