Co-Founder of Raven Software, Brian Raffel, Announces Retirement

After 36 years of dedication to the gaming industry, Brian Raffel, the co-founder of renowned game developer Raven Software, has decided to retire. Raffel, along with his brother Steve, established the Wisconsin-based studio in 1990 and played a pivotal role in its growth, serving as vice president from the outset and later becoming studio head in 1997. He was also appointed as co-studio head with Dave Pellas in 2024. Following the acquisition of Raven Software by Activision in 1997, Raffel took on the position of vice president at the publishing company.
