Behaviour Interactive, Developer of Dead by Daylight, Announces Staff Reductions
Behaviour Interactive, the development studio behind the popular game Dead by Daylight, has announced a new round of layoffs. The news initially emerged on social media, but the exact number of affected employees remains undisclosed. In a statement, Behaviour Interactive explained that a significant part of its business has historically involved external development partnerships. However, the studio has seen a decline in demand for mobile and casual external development projects in recent months. As a result, the company has decided to end its contracts with some colleagues, citing a lack of comparable opportunities in the near future. The affected employees have made significant contributions to the company and its partners over the years, and their departure was not taken lightly. Behaviour Interactive has not yet announced its plans to support the staff who will be leaving the company. This development comes on the heels of the studio's recent acquisition of The Fun Pimps, the Texas-based studio responsible for 7 Days to Die.
