Discover the 100 Emerging Leaders in the UK Gaming Industry

The GamesIndustry.biz 100: Future Talent list serves as a promising indicator of the UK gaming industry's future, which is shaping up to be remarkably diverse. With over half of the 400 nominees being non-male and more than 60% identifying as female or non-binary, this list showcases a significant shift towards greater representation. Furthermore, the list highlights the diversity of cultures and nationalities represented, spanning across Europe, the US, and Asia. This is a notable departure from the industry's historical lack of diversity, suggesting a brighter, more inclusive future. Beyond demographic diversity, the list also showcases a wide range of professions, including historians, curators, journalists, data scientists, sound engineers, artists, programmers, producers, publishers, and more. The list features young individuals demonstrating immense potential, as well as those who have already achieved remarkable success. Some of this year's GamesIndustry.biz 100 have created and published multiple games, developed software for Nintendo, sold hundreds of thousands of copies on Steam, and even founded their own companies. The gaming industry's youthful nature allows for rapid success, with many achieving greatness before the age of 30. However, the list also includes individuals who entered the gaming industry later in life or took a little longer to discover their true calling. This serves as a reminder that, regardless of age, the gaming industry is ripe for innovation and growth. We invite you to read through our 100 profiles, draw inspiration, and explore new opportunities.
