Epic Games Introduces Immediate Refund Policy for D4vd Cosmetics Amidst Murder Allegations

Following the recent murder charge against singer D4vd, Fortnite's developer has announced that players who purchased D4vd-related cosmetics can receive an immediate self-service refund. D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has been accused of killing 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez and possessing child pornography. Burke has denied the allegations. The singer initially gained fame by sharing his music alongside Fortnite montages and was later featured in the game with various cosmetics and emotes. His song 'Locked and Loaded' was also adopted as an official Fortnite anthem. In response to the charges, Epic Games has introduced a refund policy, allowing players to receive a self-service refund for D4vd cosmetics starting April 28. Although the company has acknowledged community concerns, it has not yet decided to completely remove the D4vd cosmetics from the game.
