Digital Bros. Purchases Wuchang: Fallen Feathers IP in $4.6 Million Deal

Digital Bros. has finalized the acquisition of the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers intellectual property from Chengdu Lingze Technology Co. Ltd, also known as Leenzee, for a sum of around $4.6 million. The company, which published the game through its subsidiary 505 Games, highlighted the title's impressive sales of one million copies, resulting in revenue of about $35.1 million. According to Digital Bros., this acquisition will strengthen the company's ability to make informed decisions regarding the game's future development and related investments. By securing full ownership of the IP, the company will retain all generated value and eliminate future royalty obligations to the developer. The purchase price of RMB 32 million, approximately Euro 4 million, will be covered by the company's available credit lines. Digital Bros. does not anticipate this acquisition to significantly impact the current fiscal year's business outlook.
