Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Takes Home Top Honors at BIG Festival Awards

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has added another feather to its cap by winning the coveted Best Game award at the BIG Festival Awards, held at Gamescom Latam in São Paulo, Brazil. The ceremony, which took place on Wednesday evening, featured a total of 16 categories, with Sandfall Interactive's title emerging as the biggest winner, also taking home the award for Best Audio. Other notable winners included Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth, which won Best Art, The Roottrees Are Dead, which took home Best Narrative, and MIO: Memories In Orbit, which was awarded Best Gameplay. A Rat’s Quest – The Way Back Home, developed by Mexican studio The Dreamerians, won the Best Game: Latin America award, while A.I.L.A. from Pulsatrix Studios took home the Best Game: Brazil award. Honorable mentions were given to Dispatch, Kentum, Master Lemon: The Quest for Iceland, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, and The Alters. Additionally, the shortlist for the 'Brazil is Ready for Gaming' Award was announced, featuring games such as Hell Clock, Lunar Axe, Mangút, A Lenda de Niterói, Hidden Cats in Rio de Janeiro, Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad, Opus Castle, Hit It Back, Capote, and Master Lemon: The Quest for Iceland. The winner of this award will be announced in August at Gamescom in Germany and will receive a cash prize of 70,000 Brazilian reals.
