Amazon Luna Cloud Gaming Now Integrated with Prime Video in the US and UK

Amazon has expanded its cloud gaming service, Luna, to Prime Video subscribers in the US and UK, making it accessible on Fire TV devices. As part of the Prime membership, users can browse and play games from the 'Games' tab using their TV remote or mobile device. The gaming library boasts over 100 titles, including popular games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Hogwarts Legacy, and EA Sports FC 26, with additional content available through subscriptions like Ubisoft+. According to Jeff Gattis, Amazon's GM of gaming, the integration aims to make game discovery more seamless for Prime members, allowing them to find and play games effortlessly. Initially launched in the US in March 2022, Luna has since expanded to the UK, Germany, and Canada. In an interview, Gattis highlighted the shift in approach, focusing on growing the gaming audience beyond traditional console and PC platforms. By integrating Luna with Prime Video, Amazon seeks to cater to a broader audience, particularly those without dedicated gaming hardware, and differentiate itself from competitors in the gaming market.
