Unity Achieves Record-Breaking Quarter Following Vector AI Success

According to Unity CEO Matt Bromberg, the company has just experienced its most successful quarter since going public. Bromberg attributes this success to the continued growth of Unity Vector AI and the company's product roadmap, including the upcoming launch of Unity 7 in Q1 2027. Key financial highlights include: $546 million in revenue, representing a 24% year-over-year increase; Create Solutions revenue of $158 million, up 2% year-over-year; Grow Solutions revenue of $389 million, up 35% year-over-year; and a net loss of $23 million, with a 4% margin. Unity saw growth across all segments in Q2, with a 38% increase in strategic revenue to $486 million. The company's net loss decreased to $23 million from $107 million in the same period last year, with a reduced margin of 4% from 24%. The 2% growth in Create Solutions revenue was driven by higher subscription revenue, partially offset by declines in cloud and hosting services following the company's portfolio reset. Grow Solutions revenue saw the strongest performance, increasing 35% to $389 million, driven by the Unity Ads Network and AI-driven advertising platform Vector. In May, Unity launched a suite of AI tools for Unity 6 and later versions, featuring the Agentic Assistant, which helps developers better utilize Unity's tools. These tools will be compatible with Unity 7, scheduled for beta testing in December and full release in Q1 2027.
