Fenris Creations has appointed Áslaug Arna Sigurbjörnsdóttir, a former Icelandic minister, as its senior director for AI partnerships, tasking her with leading a novel research initiative within Eve Frontier. Sigurbjörnsdóttir's background includes serving as Iceland's youngest Minister of Justice and later as Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation. Following her resignation from politics, she expressed a desire to contribute to the evolving field of artificial intelligence. Her goal is to provide evidence on how autonomous AI systems operate, which she believes is essential for informed decision-making. The research at Eve Frontier will focus on the behavior of autonomous AI agents, including their objective-setting, adaptability, and decision-making processes over time.
