Blizzard Emerges as Xbox's Top-Performing Studio in FY26, Driven by Diablo 4 and Overwatch

According to internal emails verified by Windows Central, Blizzard has concluded Microsoft's fiscal year 2026 as the leading studio within Xbox Game Studios. In an email to staff ahead of BlizzCon 2026, Blizzard President Johanna Faries highlighted the studio's achievement, crediting Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred and Overwatch for driving the studio's second consecutive year of growth. Faries noted that FY26 marked Blizzard's third-highest fiscal year for top-line revenue in the studio's history, with Overwatch delivering its strongest quarter since 2022. Although Microsoft does not publicly disclose studio-level revenue, the reported growth contrasts with the broader Xbox division. Blizzard is set to unveil its upcoming lineup at BlizzCon 2026, starting September 12 in Anaheim, and has maintained a level of autonomy since its acquisition by Microsoft in October 2023.
