Renowned voice actor Jim Ward, best known for his iconic portrayal of Captain Qwark in the Ratchet & Clank series, has passed away at the age of 66. The news was announced by Stephanie Miller, Ward's long-time co-host on The Stephanie Miller Show, who shared a heartfelt message on social media. The post revealed that Ward's wife had informed Miller of his passing, which occurred on December 10 at 10:45 am. Ward had a long-standing collaboration with Miller, dating back to 2004. In addition to his notable work in television and film, Ward had a prolific career in video game voice acting, with credits in titles such as Fallout 4, Dota 2, Marvel Heroes, Metal Gear, Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, and Call of Duty, as well as multiple Ratchet & Clank games. However, due to his battle with Alzheimer's disease, Ward was unable to participate in the latest installment, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Ward's final video game credit was for the 2022 game Quake Champions.
