Pikmin Bloom Reaches $100 Million Milestone in Player Spending
Since its launch four years ago, Pikmin Bloom has surpassed $100 million in total player expenditure. This achievement is based on combined sales data from the App Store and Google Play, as reported by PocketGamer and AppMagic. The game's revenue saw significant growth, from $8.4 million in its inaugural year to $20.9 million in 2023, representing a 148% increase. The following year, revenue continued to climb, reaching $33.4 million, partly driven by the release of Pikmin 4 on the Nintendo Switch, which led to a doubling of monthly installs for the mobile game. The year 2025 has been the most successful for the game so far, with $34.8 million in revenue before the year's end. Earlier this year, Scopely, a subsidiary of Savvy Games Group, finalized its $3.5 billion acquisition of Niantic's game business, including popular titles like Pokémon Go, Pikmin Bloom, and Monster Hunter Now.
