Dan Houser Leaves Rockstar Games, Believes Humans Will Dominate Creative Fields
Dan Houser, a veteran of the Grand Theft Auto series, has expressed his belief that humans will continue to drive creative industries. In a recent interview with Radio 4, Houser discussed his debut novel, A Better Paradise, which explores the theme of artificial intelligence. He stated that AI-generated content is often "generic" and lacks the depth and quality of human-created work. Houser also reflected on his decision to leave Rockstar Games in 2020, citing the increasingly complex and time-consuming nature of game development. He emphasized that the games industry is a positive and supportive environment, despite some imperfections. Houser has since founded a new company, Absurd Ventures, and is encouraging others to pursue careers in the industry.
