Valve has unveiled its innovative wireless VR headset, Steam Frame, which boasts compatibility with Android games. In a recent interview, the company revealed its goal of creating a unified gaming experience, where users can effortlessly play games without worrying about their origin. This is made possible by Steam Frame's ability to utilize existing Android APKs, allowing developers to port mobile titles to the device without needing to rewrite code. To facilitate this process, Valve is launching a developer kit program for Steam Frame, enabling developers familiar with creating games for Meta Quest and Android devices to easily bring their titles to the Steam platform.
