Krafton Achieves Record-Breaking Performance in Q3 2025
Krafton has announced a record-breaking performance in its Q3 2025 financial report, driven by enhanced IP competitiveness and its transition to an "AI-first company". Revenue saw a 21% year-on-year increase to 870.6 billion KRW ($604.2 million), with operating profit rising 7.5% to 348.8 billion KRW ($241.9 million). This marks the first time the company's year-to-date operating profit has surpassed KRW 1 trillion. The company attributes its success to solid performance across all business segments, including PC, mobile, console, and others, with PC platforms achieving new quarterly revenue records and 29% year-over-year growth, fueled by the consistent popularity of PUBG: Battlegrounds. High-profile collaborations with global K-pop sensations and luxury brands have also driven engagement and buzz. Mobile revenue has seen growth momentum, driven by diversified content and robust live service operations, while Battlegrounds Mobile India has achieved a new high in quarterly revenue due to localized strategies. Looking ahead, Krafton plans to accelerate growth with its PUBG IP, offering cultural experiences beyond gaming through IP collaborations and content sharing. The company is also working to evolve PUBG into PUBG 2.0, expanding its modes, user-generated content, and upgrading to Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, Krafton will take over direct publishing of Real Cricket 24 and has announced its transition to an "AI-first company", prioritizing AI as a central means of problem-solving and driving corporate value growth.
