Sunset Announced for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt in April 2026

The free-to-play battle royale game, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, is set to go offline on April 28, 2026. According to Swedish developer Sharkmob, the decision to shut down the game stems from the current player base being too small to justify the cost of maintaining the servers. Initially released in 2022 for Windows and PlayStation 5, Bloodhunt will remain accessible until the announced closure date. Although the in-game store will continue to operate, allowing players to use up their remaining in-game currency, purchases of new tokens are no longer available. Once the servers are closed, the game will cease to be playable and will be removed from both PC and PS5 platforms. Sharkmob expressed gratitude to players, acknowledging the passion and memories shared within the game.
