Mixtape Clinches Top Honor at SXSW Sydney 2025 Games Showcase Awards
Beethoven & Dinosaur's captivating narrative-driven game Mixtape has been crowned Game of the Year at the prestigious SXSW Sydney 2025: Games Showcase Awards. The awards ceremony took place over the weekend, coinciding with the SXSW Screen Awards, and recognized outstanding achievements in game development with six notable awards. The Discovery Award was presented to Little Pink Cloud for its engaging puzzle RPG Letters to Arralla, while Studio Pixel Punk received the WINGS Award for its action-packed RPG Abyss x Zero. Nice Dream, a Los Angeles-based developer, took home the Best International Award for its thought-provoking sci-fi narrative adventure Goodnight Universe. Tasty Gold was honored with the Best Student Game award for its innovative title Abberrate Inc.
