Battlefield 6 Achieves Record-Breaking Sales of Over 7 Million Units in Three Days

Electronic Arts has announced that Battlefield 6 has surpassed seven million copies sold within the first three days of its release. Additionally, the game has seen 172 million matches played and 15 million hours streamed during the same period. Vince Zampella, head of the Battlefield series, expressed gratitude to the global community and development team, stating, "We appreciate the players joining us for Battlefield 6's launch and have much more to come in the weeks ahead." Initial reports indicated that the game had sold over seven million units across all platforms within five days, generating an estimated $350 million in revenue and outperforming other premium game releases this year, except for EA Sports FC 26. Platform-specific sales data reveals that over half of the units were sold on Steam, with 3.5 million copies generating $220 million, while PlayStation and Xbox accounted for 23.7% and 19.6% of sales, respectively.
