Kingmakers Release Put on Indefinite Hold by Redemption Road

The launch of Kingmakers, initially slated for October 8, 2025, has been delayed indefinitely by Redemption Road Games. The developer announced the delay on social media, stating that more time is needed to refine the game's content before its release. According to the developer, the goal is to create a unique gaming experience that stands out in the market in terms of gameplay, scale, and interactivity. To achieve this, the team has been pushing the limits of the Unreal Engine 4, aiming to deliver a seamless 60fps experience on mid-range PCs without relying on fake frames. With a strong focus on engineering and technological innovation, the developer wants to ensure that every player, regardless of their computer's capabilities, has an exceptional experience. This decision comes after the game's movie adaptation was announced last August, with TinyBuild and Story Kitchen set to produce the film, aiming to tell a distinctive story and establish the IP.
