Hades 2 Exceeds 112,000 Concurrent Players on Steam

Over its launch weekend, Hades 2 achieved a record-breaking 112,000 concurrent players on Steam, surpassing its early access peak. According to SteamDB, the game reached an all-time high of 112,947 players since its full launch on September 25, 2025. Upon its early access release in May, Hades 2 drew over 103,000 concurrent players. Notably, this new record is twice the peak of the original Hades, which saw 54,240 players after Hades 2's early access launch, as reported by Gamesradar. Furthermore, Hades has experienced a surge in Steam players, with 19,029 users, following the full launch of Hades 2. Recently, Hades 2 became the highest-rated PC game of 2025 on Metacritic, outperforming other notable titles. Currently, the game holds a Metascore of 95 on PC and an overall score of 94. Additionally, Alinea Analytics estimates that Hades 2 sold over two million copies on Steam during its early access period, generating $50 million in revenue, with 1.5 million sales occurring within the first two months. Hades 2 was released as a timed console exclusive on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with a physical edition set to launch on November 20, 2025.
