Seasoned Gaming Experts Launch Midnighters, a New Australian Publishing House

A team of seasoned professionals from the gaming industry has established Midnighters, a publishing company based in Australia. The company's leadership comprises four co-directors, including Zea Wolfe, formerly of Massive Monster and Die Gute Fabrik, Jair McBain from Land & Sea and Lune Interactive, Aaron Oak of Zero Dimension and Funselektor, and Jacob Vincent, who has worked with Funselektor and Wymac Gaming Solutions. By leveraging their collective expertise, Midnighters aims to provide indie developers with more comprehensive support, enabling them to create games in a more sustainable manner. The publisher offers an array of services, including project management, marketing, release management, public relations, business development, and community engagement. Midnighters is also open to providing flexible publishing options, such as upfront funding or a more hands-off approach, in exchange for a reduced share of project royalties. According to Wolfe, the traditional publishing model often falls short of meeting the needs of independent developers. With their own backgrounds in art, design, and engineering, the Midnighters team seeks to provide a more tailored approach, driven by a deep understanding of the challenges faced by developers. Currently, the company is collaborating with Alien Cat x Nomo Studio to publish Momento, a cozy room decoration game. Midnighters is actively accepting pitches from developers, who are encouraged to submit their proposals through a provided form.
