Infinity Festival to Honor Innovators this October

This year's Infinity Festival, a celebration of entertainment, technology, and gaming, will feature the creators of the summer hit KPop Demon Hunters, as well as Tomorrowland and US-based Insomniac, as headliners. The event is scheduled to take place on October 9-10 at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and the newly opened Sony Pictures Imageworks Mid-Wilshire campus. According to the Infinity Festival programming team, "This year's festival is about bringing together the most innovative minds from Hollywood and Silicon Valley, and we're taking it to the next level." The festival will include discussions on AI, gaming, immersive storytelling, and studio innovation, with speakers such as Michelle Wong, Jacky Priddle, and Josh Beveridge from Sony Pictures Imageworks. The creators of Tomorrowland and Insomniac will also discuss their UNITY experience. KPop Demon Hunters has recently become Netflix's most-watched title, surpassing Squid Game, according to Netflix's TUDUM website. Other notable speakers include Jed Harmsen from Dolby Laboratories, as well as top executives from Nvidia, HP, AMD, and AWS. More information on the Expanded Gaming Programming Track will be available soon, and tickets can be purchased on the official website. IGN, a presenting media sponsor, will also be featured in the programming, and the festival's history dates back to its creation in 2018 as the Infinity Film Festival.
