EGX at MCM London Comic Con to Host Three Key Gaming Summits This October
This October, EGX at MCM London Comic Con will play host to three major gaming industry summits. Organiser ReedPop has announced the return of the PopCultr Marketing Summit, alongside the Investment Summit and the Creator Summit, all taking place on October 24, 2025, at Excel London. The Investment Summit, in collaboration with Game Republic, is designed to provide indie game developers with valuable knowledge on securing investment for their projects. Keynote sessions will be led by industry veterans Peter Moore, former head of EA Sports, and Chris Dring, editor-in-chief of The Games Business. A GamesIndustry.biz panel, chaired by features editor Lewis Packwood, will discuss investment opportunities, featuring experts such as Cassia Curran from Curran Games Agency, Lirui Dring from Transcend Fund, Simon Byron from Yogcast Games, and Meg Clarke from Team 17. The Creator Summit aims to empower creators with the knowledge and skills necessary to advance their careers, establish a strong personal brand, and form successful business partnerships. Industry leaders will host a series of panels covering essential topics, including events, the UK's Online Safety Act, and brand collaborations. The PopCultr Marketing Summit, now in its third year, brings together marketing professionals to explore the latest trends and strategies in IP growth, storytelling, and fan engagement. This one-day summit is an opportunity for attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the complex and ever-changing marketing landscape. Pre-registration for the PopCultr Marketing Summit is available. All three summits are open to attendees with an MCM London Comic Con industry pass or creator pass, offering a unique chance to network and learn from industry experts.
