The Last of Us HBO Series Secures Another Emmy Award
The live-action adaptation of The Last of Us, a collaboration between Naughty Dog and HBO, has earned an additional Emmy award for its second season. At the Creative Emmys, which recognize technical and behind-the-scenes accomplishments as well as acting achievements, the show won the award for Sound Editing in a Comedy or Drama series, following 13 Emmy nominations. A total of 47 awards were presented in categories including production design, sound mixing, choreography, and writing, with the complete list of winners available on Deadline. Previously, the first season of HBO's The Last of Us had won eight awards at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2023, after receiving 24 nominations.
