Fortnite Maintains Its Grip on Revenue and User Base in July 2025
Fortnite dominated the gaming scene in July, leading the charts in both revenue and monthly active users across PC and console platforms. According to Newzoo's latest insights, EA Sports College Football 26 secured the second spot, while Ready or Not made a significant leap to third place following its console launch. Other notable performers included Destiny 2, which rose 23 places to enter the top 10, Marvel Rivals with an 11-place jump, The Sims, CS:GO, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and EA Sports FC 25. Nintendo's Donkey Kong Bananza also broke into the top 10 as a new release, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2. In terms of monthly active users, Black Ops 6 came in second after Fortnite, with Roblox taking third place. The top 10 saw minimal changes from the previous month. Peak continued its post-launch growth, highlighting the importance of competitive pricing and consistent support. Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2 also saw significant gains, climbing 20 and 6 spots respectively, following major updates. The top 20 games by revenue and monthly active users in the US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy for July 2025, across PC and consoles, have been outlined by Newzoo.
