GameChangers Partners with The City of Liverpool College to Launch a New Management Diploma

The City of Liverpool College and GameChangers, a non-profit career initiative, have joined forces to introduce a complimentary management diploma program. The Principles of Management and Leadership Level 3 Diploma, a year-long course offered by The City of Liverpool College, is tailored for individuals currently working in or aspiring to work in management roles within the gaming industry. This diploma is specifically designed for those who lead development teams, oversee operational staff, set project objectives, and provide guidance to team members to ensure seamless project delivery. The course combines online and on-campus learning, covering essential management aspects such as stakeholder relationships, team management, project delivery, and data management. Applications are now open for the course, which commences in September 2025. Eligible applicants who earn under £34,000 per year can participate in the course free of charge. According to Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram, 'The Liverpool City Region is renowned for its creativity and talent, and our gaming sector is a prime example. This new diploma represents a significant step forward in establishing our region as a leader in the UK's digital and creative industries, providing local youth with exciting career opportunities in a thriving industry right on their doorstep, backed by leading games studios.'
