Good Job Games Secures $60 Million in Series A Funding Round
Mobile gaming company Good Job Games, based in Türkiye, has announced the successful completion of its Series A funding round, raising $60 million and increasing its total investment to $83 million in under six months. The funding round was co-led by Menlo Ventures and Anthos Capital, with additional investment from Bessemer Venture Partners. This significant investment comes just six months after the company's seed funding round, which secured $23 million. The new funds will be utilized to scale the company's match-3 puzzle game, Match Villains, on a global level and to establish a renowned entertainment brand through the development of socially-driven games that stand the test of time. Ilker Ilicali, founder and CEO of Good Job Games, expressed enthusiasm about the potential of the match-3 genre and the company's mission to create the most engaging modern match-3 game with Match Villains. Ilicali highlighted the exceptional user feedback and data as key factors driving the company's confidence in its vision. The funding announcement follows another recent investment in the Turkish gaming sector, where Circle Games secured $7.25 million to support the development of its project, Sort Express, and other unannounced games.
