Vinit Agarwal, a veteran director formerly at Naughty Dog, has announced plans to establish a new game development studio in Japan. In a social media post, Agarwal shared that he would be relocating to Japan and forming a game studio, with more details to follow soon. Although the scope of the new studio and its first project remain under wraps, Agarwal has expressed his enthusiasm for creating multiplayer games in the past. With a decade of experience at Naughty Dog, where he worked on notable titles such as The Last of Us Part II and Uncharted 4, Agarwal is now set to embark on a new venture. Prior to joining Naughty Dog, he worked in the mobile and free-to-play sectors. Upon his departure from Naughty Dog earlier this year, Agarwal stated that he was eager to pursue a new challenge and create something of his own, leveraging the knowledge and mentorship he gained during his time at the renowned game development company.
