Million Victories Raises $40m in Latest Funding Round
French mobile game developer Million Victories has successfully secured approximately $40 million in its latest funding round, led by the private equity firm Haveli Investments. The new investment will fuel the company's global expansion, support the growth of its flagship title Million Lords, and facilitate the recruitment of top talent to bolster its production, marketing, and user acquisition capabilities. Million Victories aims to significantly increase its workforce by 2027, with key vacancies including game director, live operations director, chief technology officer, growth lead, and senior user acquisition managers. The funding will also be utilized to boost user acquisition efforts in strategic markets such as France, the US, Germany, the UK, as well as in key Asian territories like South Korea and Japan. According to Million Victories' CEO and co-founder BenoƮt Ducrest, "Haveli Investments' support extends beyond financial backing, as they leverage their extensive gaming industry expertise to help us make informed decisions, accelerate our growth, and realize our ambition to become a leading mobile gaming company." This latest funding round follows Million Victories' previous successes, including a $1.4 million launch funding in 2019, a $3 million Series A round led by Griffin Gaming Partners in 2021, and an additional $6.5 million raised in 2023 with participation from Eurazeo and Griffin Gaming Partners.
