Furthermore, the studio has reportedly been approached by several publishers interested in supporting the game's completion, and these opportunities are being evaluated. Although the studio cannot confirm the identity of its original publisher, speculation suggests it may have been Microsoft, which recently underwent significant layoffs in its gaming division, affecting around 9,000 employees, and resulted in the closure of The Initiative and the cancellation of several projects.
