Cast Iron Games Launches in Wakefield as Double Eleven's Sister Studio
Cast Iron Games has officially launched its operations in Tileyard North, Wakefield, UK, specializing in co-development and game porting services for AAA titles. Founded by industry veterans Arden Aspinall and Jon Seymour, the studio is a part of the Pneuma Games Group, the parent company of Double Eleven. With several projects already in progress, the studio's establishment stems from the existing relationships between Double Eleven and Pneuma's leadership and the founders. According to Lee Hutchinson, CEO of Double Eleven and Pneuma Group chairman, "The addition of Cast Iron Games to our group of companies is a long-awaited move, and I am excited to welcome them alongside Double Eleven." The studio aims to expand its portfolio while focusing on nurturing local talent in the north of England, an area renowned for its rich gaming history.
