Hooded Horse Collaborates with Ubisoft to Release Unfrozen's Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era

In a recent development, Hooded Horse, the publisher behind Manor Lords, has formed a partnership with Ubisoft to handle the publication of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, developed by Unfrozen. As a result, Hooded Horse will assume responsibility for the game's day-to-day operations. According to Unfrozen, this collaboration will lead to enhanced marketing support, increased visibility, and a broader reach across different regions. Ubisoft retains ownership of the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise. The partnership has been met with enthusiasm from both parties, with Ubisoft's chief publishing officer, Alain Corre, stating that Hooded Horse's passion for the franchise and strong ties to strategy communities make them an ideal complement to Unfrozen's creative talent. Hooded Horse CEO, Tim Bender, has also expressed his excitement about teaming up with Ubisoft and Unfrozen, acknowledging the legendary status of the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Unfrozen's CEO, Denis Fedorov, shares the sentiment, believing that the combined expertise of Hooded Horse and Ubisoft's legacy will be instrumental in making Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era a success and introducing it to a wider audience of tactical turn-based strategy fans worldwide. Initially revealed in August 2024, the game's early access release has been postponed to late 2025.
