Games for Change Non-Profit Expands Board with 5 New Appointments to Amplify Social Impact

The non-profit organization Games for Change, dedicated to harnessing the power of digital games and immersive technologies to drive positive change, has announced the expansion of its board with the addition of five new members. These include Samir El Agili from Tilting Point and Brandible, Benjamin Golant of Tencent Americas, an executive from Xbox at Microsoft, Evan Segal of Segal Ventures, and Mark Stanley from Yelnats Collective. They will join the existing board to steer the growth of Games for Change's mission and oversee its latest initiatives, such as XR for Change, G4C Learn, and the Raising Good Gamers program. Previous initiatives include the Games for Change Diverse Voices, New Stories Challenge that took place in 2023. According to President Susanna Pollack, "Games for Change is more vital than ever as the world experiences unprecedented change. We are at the forefront of leveraging the creative and storytelling potential of games to foster empathy and inspire the next generation of change-makers." Pollack highlighted that each new board member has a history of empowering others through play for education, entrepreneurship, and global progress.
