Noice Gaming Platform Closes Its Doors

The multiplayer gaming and live streaming platform, Noice, has announced its shutdown. Despite securing $21 million in funding in 2023, CEO Tuomas Rinta revealed in a LinkedIn statement that the decision was not unexpected within the company, but he encouraged staff to take pride in their accomplishments. Rinta expressed his sadness in delivering the news to the team, acknowledging the challenging fundraising environment they faced. He emphasized the importance of pride in what they had built, amidst the disappointment and uncertainty. Jussi Laakkonen, Chairman and co-founder, also shared his sentiments on LinkedIn, describing the shutdown as painful. He reflected on the memorable experiences and achievements during his time at Noice, calling it an opportunity to work with an exceptional team on groundbreaking projects. Rinta ended his statement by thanking his colleagues and offering to connect potential employers with former team members who are now looking for new opportunities.
