Neowiz Acquires Global Rights for Shadowlight's Debut Game, Kill the Shadow

Neowiz, the publisher behind Lies of P, has secured the global rights to Shadowlight's first game, Kill the Shadow, in a newly announced partnership. According to Shadowlight, Neowiz's alignment with their game development philosophy and collaborative approach were key factors in the deal. Neowiz CEO Kim Seung-chul highlighted the importance of a shared development philosophy in delivering high-quality narrative-driven games for PC and console audiences. The CEO stated, "We are excited to work closely with Shadowlight to bring Kill the Shadow to a global audience and share the charm that drew us to the title." Shadowlight's CEO praised Neowiz as a reliable global publisher, emphasizing the value of a partner that shares their vision and is open to collaboration. This partnership follows Neowiz's recent investments, including an $8 million deal with Zakazane and a $17 million investment in Blank Game Studios, as well as the acquisition of a 21% stake in the latter.
