Key Executives Depart from Build a Rocket Boy Ahead of MindsEye Launch

Just days before the release of MindsEye on June 10, Build a Rocket Boy's chief legal officer and chief financial officer have announced their departure from the company. In a LinkedIn post, former chief legal officer Riley Graebner expressed pride in the company's accomplishments during his three-and-a-half-year tenure, including doubling the company's size to over 450 employees and launching multiple products worldwide. However, he did not disclose the reason for his departure or his future plans, stating that he is currently 'operating in stealth mode.' Chief financial officer Paul Bland has also left the company, with his LinkedIn profile confirming his departure in June 2025. These high-profile exits follow co-CEO Mark Gerhard's recent suggestion that the negative reception of MindsEye was part of a targeted effort against the studio.
