Bertheussen IT Contributes $50,000 to Spawn Point, a Norwegian Gaming Accelerator

Bertheussen IT, the company behind Wordfeud, has made a generous donation of $50,000 to Spawn Point Trondheim, a Norway-based accelerator for the gaming industry. This substantial investment will enable Spawn Point to further develop its programs, attract more gaming professionals, and investigate viable models for long-term impact on the local gaming scene. Spawn Point project manager Linn Søvig expressed her gratitude, stating, "Receiving support from a successful figure in the gaming industry is a significant motivator." She added, "It demonstrates a genuine belief in the potential of the next generation of Norwegian game developers and the importance of establishing a sustainable gaming industry in the region." Søvig emphasized the need for organizational growth to drive commercial expansion in the Norwegian gaming sector. The donated funds will provide Spawn Point with the necessary resources to plan for the future and explore ways to become a lasting asset for the gaming industry. Håkon Bertheussen, founder of Bertheussen IT, shared his perspective, saying, "I understand the challenges of navigating the gaming industry, particularly in the early stages."
