DreamPark Secures $1.1 Million in Funding to Fuel AR Innovation

DreamPark, a pioneer in augmented reality experiences, has successfully raised $1.1 million in its seed funding round. The company specializes in creating immersive AR experiences in physical locations using markers like QR codes, which transform real-world spaces into engaging digital environments. The funding round, led by Long Journey Ventures and supported by Founders Inc., will enable DreamPark to forge partnerships with prominent intellectual properties, increase its supply of rental Quest headsets, and bolster its development team. With existing installations in Santa Monica and the LA County Fair, DreamPark is poised to expand its presence to Seattle, Orange County, and corporate events. According to Aidan Wolf, CEO and co-founder of DreamPark, 'Our goal extends beyond content creation; we're building a platform that revitalizes communities by providing people with compelling reasons to gather, play, and connect in physical spaces.' Wolf added, 'By bridging the digital and physical worlds, we're introducing a new category of play that enhances real-life connections with the magic of virtual worlds, turning the spaces around us into canvases for shared adventure and imagination.' Brent Bushnell, co-founder and business director, noted, 'We're on a mission to create the world's largest theme park – one that's accessible everywhere and to everyone, making it worthwhile for people to engage in outdoor play once again.' This investment will facilitate the rapid expansion of DreamPark's access points nationwide, foster partnerships with premium IP holders, and further enhance its technology to deliver enchanting experiences that draw people back to physical spaces.
