Amplitude Studios Secures Over $13 Million in Series A Funding Round
Amplitude Studios has successfully raised $13.6 million in its Series A funding round, led by a significant investment of $11.3 million from Griffin Gaming Partners, with additional support from Bpifrance. Following its recent independence from Sega, the studio plans to utilize this investment to drive the completion of its upcoming title, Endless Legend 2, explore new projects, and expand its team and community engagement. According to CEO Romain de Waubert de Genlis, "This partnership enables us to accelerate towards our envisioned future, one where we can fully realize our creative ambitions and deliver exceptional experiences for our players." The studio's decision to part ways with Sega was the result of a thorough consultation process, and as an independent developer, Amplitude will now focus on developing its own intellectual properties.
