Industry Jobs Roundup: May 2025

The games industry has seen numerous appointments and transitions recently. To help keep track, we've compiled the latest updates in our semi-regular roundup. Stillfront has appointed Tim Holland as its interim CFO, following the resignation of Andreas Uddman in January 2025. Holland, who has been with Stillfront since 2019, will bring his extensive experience in finance to the role. Prior to joining Stillfront, Holland served as CFO at Kixeye and Hothead Games. Uddman will continue to work with Stillfront as a senior advisor until his departure in July 2025. Stijn Morren has joined Room 8 Group as business development director, bringing his experience from translation and language services company TransPerfect. Morren was one of the first people to build TransPerfect's gaming division and previously worked at MoGi Group in business development for gaming in Europe. Rhys Elliott has been appointed as head of market analysis at Alinea Analytics, where he will utilize his expertise in games industry data. Elliott previously worked at Midia Research as a lead games analyst and at Newzoo as a games market analyst. Other recent appointments include Scopely's new chief business officer, Shlomi Aizenberg, who will focus on the company's M&A strategy, and Ares Interactive's new president, Mike DeLaet, who previously served as global head of digital gaming at Mattel. Ludeo has appointed Rob Schonfeld as its chief business officer, who will help scale the company's technology and build new products. Schonfeld previously worked at Activision Blizzard as global revenue officer. These are just a few of the many recent appointments and transitions in the games industry.
