Evil Dead: The Game Removal from Digital Stores Underway

Saber Interactive has initiated the process of withdrawing Evil Dead: The Game from online stores. The announcement was made on the game's Steam page, where it is no longer available. According to the developer, "the removal of the game from digital storefronts has begun." However, they reassure players that "those who have purchased the game will still be able to play, as our servers will remain online for all players." The developer expressed gratitude to the community for their support, from early adopters to recent players. The delisting was first noticed by Reddit users on the Epic Game Store and PlayStation Store, although it remains available on the Xbox Store at present. Released in 2022, Evil Dead: The Game features cooperative gameplay and player-versus-player combat, co-published by Boss Team Games. Following the announcement in September 2023 that the game would not be released on Nintendo Switch and that development of new content had ceased, the developer committed to maintaining servers "for the foreseeable future."
