Fab Unveils Spring Sale and Showcases Recent Enhancements

Following its launch in October, Fab, Epic's unified digital marketplace, is now hosting a spring sale starting April 22nd, featuring discounts of up to 70% on over 60,000 products. Additionally, users who spend more than $25 will receive a free 6-month subscription to Adobe Substance Painter and Modeler. The sale concludes on April 29, while the Adobe promotion is available until May 31. Since its inception, Epic has implemented several updates to Fab, including improved search functionality, new filters, and an enhanced user interface, making navigation more efficient. Responding to user feedback, the Fab team has introduced a wishlist feature and the ability to link Q&A forum threads to product listings. Epic has ambitious plans to further enhance Fab, including the addition of text reviews, one-click imports into various game engines and 3D tools, and support for new 2D and 3D file formats. As a one-stop destination for digital content, Fab offers a vast array of assets, including 3D character models, environments, VFX, audio, animations, and more, catering to creators using Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, Blender, Maya, and other digital content creation tools. The platform provides convenient access to assets, with Unreal Engine developers able to access Fab directly through an integrated plugin in Unreal Engine 5, and Fortnite-ready assets available via Fab's UEFN integration. The home page features links to channels for easy searching of assets compatible with Unreal Engine, UEFN, and Unity, as well as a featured products bar showcasing assets from prominent creators and studios. Fab is also the new home for Quixel Megascans, offering over 17,000 high-fidelity assets, including a selection of 1,500 top-quality photorealistic assets available for free to all users. The platform's advanced filters, such as format, license type, price, ratings, style, and technical features, facilitate easy discovery of the right assets, while a next-generation real-time 3D viewer enables users to inspect assets from all angles, ensuring confidence in their purchases.
