A Japanese individual has been given a two-year prison sentence, which has been suspended for a period of three years. According to reports from NTC, a 58-year-old man was found guilty of modifying Nintendo Switch consoles and selling them. The man's arrest was due to the installation of modified components within the console, allowing it to run pirated games. In a court hearing on April 14, the man was convicted of trademark infringement and given a two-year suspended prison sentence, along with a fine of approximately $3500.
