Astro Bot Dominates the BAFTA Game Awards 2025 with Five Prestigious Wins

The BAFTA Game Awards 2025 saw Astro Bot emerge as the biggest winner, claiming five awards including the top honor of Best Game. The highly-acclaimed PS5 platformer, developed by Team ASOBI, also received awards for Audio Achievement, Animation, Family, and Game Design. Another notable winner was Still Wakes The Deep from The Chinese Room, which secured three awards, with Alec Newman and Karen Dunbar winning awards for their performances in the game. Helldivers 2, a popular co-op game, picked up two awards for Multiplayer and Music. The awards ceremony recognized a diverse range of games, including card roguelike Balatro, platformer Neva, and narrative action game Senua's Saga: Hellblade II. To be eligible for the 21st BAFTA Game Awards, games had to be released between November 25, 2023, and November 15, 2024. The BAFTA Fellowship was awarded to renowned pianist and composer Yoko Shimomura, known for her work on the Kingdom Hearts, Xenoblade, and Final Fantasy series.
