Remedy Entertainment's creative director, Sam Lake, has been announced as the first keynote speaker for the Develop:Brighton 2025 conference, where he will engage in a fireside chat titled 'Remedy's Sam Lake: 30 Years of Storytelling'. This session aims to commemorate the studio's milestone and delve into the evolution of its storytelling over the past three decades. Lake expressed his pride in the studio's achievements, stating, 'I feel we've been on a logical path forward, always building on the foundation and learnings of our previous games.' He also shared his enthusiasm for the future, noting that Remedy will continue to explore and experiment, particularly within the Remedy connected universe, which includes franchises like Alan Wake and Control. The upcoming project, FBC: Firebreak, a co-op multiplayer game set in the Control universe, is a step in this direction.
