Eidos Montréal Announces Staff Reduction of 75 Employees
Eidos Montréal has confirmed that it will be letting go of 75 staff members. In a recent statement on LinkedIn, the company explained that due to one of its mandates coming to a close, it was necessary to part ways with up to 75 valued team members, citing an inability to fully reallocate them to other ongoing projects. The company expressed its appreciation for the employees' talents and experience, and is providing support during this transition period. Eidos Montréal remains committed to delivering its current projects, despite the recent layoffs. This move follows a series of staff reductions, including over 900 layoffs throughout 2023 and an additional 97 in January 2024, after being acquired by Embracer in 2022.
