Capcom Appoints Monster Hunter Producer as New Chief Product Officer
As of April 1, Ryozo Tsujimoto, the renowned producer of Monster Hunter, will take on the position of chief product officer, succeeding Yoichi Egawa, who will step down from his role as executive corporate officer. Meanwhile, Haruhiro Tsujimoto, the company's president and COO, will oversee the Pachinko and Pachislo business divisions. With a career spanning over 25 years at Capcom, Ryozo Tsujimoto brings extensive experience to his new role, having joined the company in 1996. Additionally, several key leadership changes will occur, including Kenkichi Nomura's departure as executive VP, while Yoshinobu Sasahara and Satoshi Arai will assume new positions as executive corporate officer and managing corporate officer, respectively. Notably, Egawa and Nomura will remain on Capcom's board of directors. The company recently released its financial report for the nine-month period ending December 31, 2024, which indicated that despite a 16.3% decline in net sales to ¥88.9 billion and a 33% drop in net income, the results were in line with the company's fiscal plan.
