Studio Fizbin Announces Closure After 14 Years, Reignbreaker to be Final Release

The upcoming game Reignbreaker will mark the final release from Studio Fizbin, as the studio is set to cease operations after 14 years. In a statement, founder and CEO Alexander Pieper expressed that the decision to shutter the studio was necessary due to the current state of the gaming industry. Despite efforts to secure new projects, none were successful, prompting the difficult decision to close. The studio's parent company, Thunderful, had previously reduced internal development, affecting Studio Fizbin. Reignbreaker is slated for release on March 18, 2025, and the team will provide post-launch support. Following the release, the studio's focus will shift to supporting the talented team in finding new opportunities within the industry. Studio Fizbin is known for titles such as Say No! More and Minute of Islands, and its closure contributes to the significant number of developer job losses in 2025.
